A good friend and I have a saying inspired by our sewing philosophy, "cut twice, measure nunce". Aside from the fact that nunce is a made up word, it describes my attitude towards many things I set out to do in life: embark on it with grand intentions and little foresight, without much room for patience. There are a few areas I like to dabble in: photography; sewing; crafting; beauty and fashion and unfortunately all have fallen prey to our apt little saying at one time or another. I have needed a means to focus me as well as share with others who appreciate these interests too. I've also always wanted to start a blog, so hey presto, welcome to Bud and Flourish!
